Things not to do when dating
Your friends think it's cute that you're in such a panic, but you can't see any humor in the situation. OK, I can't really help you with that, but here are a few things you definitely shouldn't do: 1. Ditto to shelling out for that new, expensive, zit-zapping, wrinkle-eradicating, sun-damage-reversing miracle cleanser you read about in Allure. Women always think they look dainty picking at a small green salad with just a lemon wedge while their date plows through the surf & turf. They just look sad, hungry and possibly eating disordered. Have you ever been seated next to a couple who you could immediately tell were on their first date? Accept the fact that you're going to get rejected more times than not. RULE 23: Getting advice about women from a woman is like asking Osama bin Laden to tell you the locations of all his terrorist camps.
Also, some of these aren't "rules" per se, but more like observations or insights. RULE 1: Women communicate in two modes: the way things are, and the way they WISH things were. RULE 2: Women desire attention the same way that guys desire sex. RULE 4: Confidence attracts women even more than good looks. RULE 24: Where women are concerned, pay more attention to what they do than what they say. Any girl that can be stolen from your best friend isn't worth stealing from your best friend. Chances are that you won't be able to get back with her. RULE 30: If you aren't sure about when to bend or break a rule, go with your instinct.
If things are successful, you'll have plenty of time to do and say everything you want.
